Project Profile: Water Framework Directive

Client: GMJV
To meet the terms of the Water Treatment directive; Scottish Water must be able to provide accurate data for the monitoring and measurement of all 524 licensed and registered water sources. GMJV are delivering the programme on behalf of Scottish Water Solutions to identify, design and install the agreed solutions to enable the provision of data. IDS are providing Project Management support and Electrical installation teams to ensure the March 2009 deadline is delivered successfully. Jim Strapp - GMJV Project Manager said -"IDS were the main delivery partner with GMJV on the WFD project. Both parties had a good relationship on the ground and at management level based on partnering and focusing on delivering the project, rather than getting bogged down with paperwork and contractual issues. Testament to the success of the management and delivery structure was achieving the 521 SEPA outputs on target, and winning SW’s Capital investment Delivery Award for Team of the Year 2009." |
